Its the Sky

I want to touch the sky once

Dip my fingers in the blue

Swirl the clouds

Pick a piece from here

And place it there

Change the  cloud’s shapes and forms

Play with the sun beams

Watch the night spread its arms

The black bleeding into the blue

With a vigor to conquer the horizon

At dawn, I want to

Wait and watch the sky

Try different colors

Until it settles on one of the

Hundred shades of blue

I just want to touch the sky once
