The New Tenant

4b998d4b86a9506a5780b79074237e15-1Ahh.. A new tenant
A new victim
The cracks in the wall smiled
The creaky windows laughed
The leaky taps dripped in anticipation
Ohh how loud she was going to be in the night
The electric wires snapped
Tonight is going to be fun
The loose floorboard on the stairs stretched.
Chuckled, imagining her squeal
The ghost, stuck in the house for centuries,
sat cross legged on the floor
Chin resting in his hands
He was going to enjoy scaring her
Yet, somewhere deep, he thought,
Wish I could make you moan and groan
Instead of scream and shriek.
